The Downhours Run a 'Personal Winery'
Apple Based Desserts
Apples and Sauternes (a sweet white) go very well
together – and they pair best when the apple dish
has some tartness as a counter–point to the wine.  
Other sweet whites would be Riesling Ice Wine or
Moscato.  Maybe even a Green Apple Riesling
or Peach Apricot Chardonnay.
